Hello! I’m Allison -
a dietitian, aspiring doula, mum of three busy little cherubs, and lover of all things motherhood.
Motherhood is the most rewarding and joyful thing I’ve ever experienced. It’s also been the most challenging and testing thing I’ve ever experienced.
I have experienced first hand, the mental and physical loads of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, caring for newborns, toddlers and a continually changing family dynamic.
As a mother, we grow and strengthen in ways that I could never imagine.
My wish is to provide women caring for little lives with a trustworthy, compassionate voice of clarity that cuts through conflicting, confusing, and harmful noise about motherhood — bringing calmness, confidence, and clear focus to what truly matters when loop shaping a mother, child and a developing family.
So that you can grow into the mother that you were always meant to be.
Our Why…
Motherhood is one of the most profound and demanding responsibilities a woman will ever carry.
From the moment you find out you’re pregnant, there’s an overwhelming sense that everything you do matters. Every decision, every choice, every moment feels like it shapes your child’s future.
And with that comes a quiet but constant pressure — questioning, second-guessing, and wondering if you’re getting it right.
But what I’ve come to see is this:
It’s not that mothers aren’t capable.
It’s that they are carrying far too much, far too alone.
We’re told that it takes a village to raise a baby…
But where is the village that supports the mother?
Care is often fragmented. Mothers are rushed through pregnancy appointments, rather than deeply supported. They’re expected to “bounce back” postpartum, rather than rest and recover. And when it comes to feeding their children, they’re often left to figure it out alone, only to be told later that struggles are “just a phase.”
We can do better than this.
I know this not just through my work, but through my own experience.
Even as a dietitian, I found myself questioning if I was doing enough during pregnancy. I prepared for birth, but still felt overwhelmed in the moment. Postpartum brought a level of exhaustion and adjustment that I hadn’t fully understood until I lived it.
Over time, through multiple pregnancies, births, and raising young children, I began to see both the challenges and the beauty of this season more clearly. I came to a simple but powerful belief:
When a mother is supported, everything changes.
She has more capacity, more confidence, more presence, and this flows directly into how she cares for her children.
That’s why I’ve built my work around supporting mothers through the full journey — from pregnancy, to postpartum, and into feeding and raising their children.
Not just with advice, but with practical nourishment, guidance, and real support so that you don’t have to carry it solo.
My hope is that women caring for little lives feel supported, nourished, and steady — able to experience peaceful pregnancies, healing postpartum, and the confidence to raise thriving children within a sense of village.
Because a nurtured mother grows a thriving child.
I believe in…
-
Freedom from social pressure
I believe that every family’s life, culture, values, and capacity are different. My approach rejects rigid rules and one-size-fits-all plans, instead providing flexible, sustainable support that fits real life - centred around connection, comfort, culture, and joy. Mothers are supported to build an enjoyable relationship with themselves and their family dynamic that adapts as life changes, without guilt or fear when things don’t go to plan.
-
Joy in motherhood
I believe women deserve to experience joy alongside the challenges of caring for little lives. By reducing stress and pressure around food, nourishment and the pressures of the load of motherhood, my work creates space for women to slow down, feel present, and enjoy the beauty of each season, allowing food to support connection and joy rather than becoming another source of hardship.
-
Peace + clarity in your values
In a world filled with conflicting and overwhelming nutrition advice, I am committed to creating a space of peace and clarity for women caring for little lives. My work provides clear, grounded guidance that helps clients feel steady, discerning, and confident — able to filter out the noise and move forward knowing what truly matters for their family.
-
Honesty in care
I believe access to trustworthy care is a right, not a privilege. My work is grounded in transparency, integrity, and evidence-based care, offering clear guidance when the evidence is strong, and honesty when it isn’t. By never overstating certainty or filling gaps with guesswork, I create a safe space where clients can trust the information they receive and grow in confidence, security, and self-belief as they grow their family.
-
Empowering mothers
I believe women caring for little lives are already doing the best they can with the information, capacity, and support they have. My role is to remove blame, replace uncertainty with understanding, and meet each client exactly where they are, offering tailored, compassionate guidance and support that restores confidence and empowers them to move forward with clarity and trust in themselves.
